Koch Curve

It is a mathematical curve described by Helge von Koch. It is a piece of a larger fractal, the Koch Snowflake and is built on the concept of recursion.

So How does it use

The process of repeating items in a self-similar way.

Each line divides itself to form a new curve. The first curve generates at Iteration 1.

What if we repeat it along every
edge of a Triangle

Koch curve along every edge of the triangle is the Koch Snowflake. Since the number of edges in the snowflake increase (4*3) times, it has an ∞ perimeter.

What happens when we zoom on the
Koch curve

The pattern keeps on repeating as we zoom into the curve.
